UNT expands its retailing degrees with a major in consumer experience management

Managing the consumer experience in retail is complicated enough these days that there's now a college degree for that. 

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved a bachelor of science degree with a major in "Consumer Experience Management" at the University of North Texas in Denton.

Two University of North Texas students were one of the top-three finalist teams to compete in one of the retail industry’s biggest events of 2017, the National Retail Federation Foundation BIG Show.

Hailey Turner, of Flower Mound, and Sarah Muller, of Mount Olive Township, New Jersey, won the third place prize of $1,500 each in the National Retail Federation Foundation Student Challenge.
