New college track teammates accept Jaron Thomas and his painted nails

DENTON, Texas — After four years competing at the University of Colorado, Jaron Thomas graduated and possessed one remaining season of indoor track and field eligibility.

Rather than wait to start his doctoral program at the University of North Texas and spend another year in Boulder, Colorado, he is finishing his athletic career in Denton, Texas.

UNT needs bisexual and/or transgender research participants

The University of North Texas Center for Psychosocial Health Research will soon complete its research study investigating quality of life and wellbeing among LGBT folks over 50.

The study is intended to advance research on health, social support and emotional happiness of the aging LGBT community (50+ years), an under-represented group in current research. Bisexual and/or transgender participants are needed. They already reached their goal for gay and lesbian participants.
