In a move that was expected, former SMU guard and Kimball graduate Keith Frazier is transferring to North Texas, said Erven Davis, Frazier's former AAU coach.

Davis said Frazier called UNT coach Tony Benford on Wednesday to say that he was coming. Frazier is in the process of enrolling at the school and should join the team in the next few days, a source told the Denton Record-Chronicle. UNT's students began semester classes Tuesday.

A McDonald's All-America at Kimball, Frazier was SMU coach Larry Brown's marquee signee.

North Texas is trying to quickly make up ground before national signing day following a coaching change that brought former North Carolina offensive coordinator Seth Littrell to Denton.

Littrell wasn’t introduced at UNT until Dec. 7, leaving him little time to put a class together, especially considering he started pretty much from scratch. The Mean Green have made some progress since and now have seven players committed.

UNT also picked up a pair of key transfers in Alabama quarterback Alec Morris and Kansas State defensive tackle Bryce English.

Longview's Molly Grisham left University of North Texas with a number of things a few weeks ago.

Academically, she left with a diploma. Athletically, she helped the Mean Green women's soccer team post their most successful season in history as UNT posted a record of 19-4-1 overall. They were 8-1-1 in the Conference USA. Not only did they win the overall conference title, they also won the conference tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division I Tournament.

Grisham was a defensive player on a team that was scored upon only 10 times and UNT won 16 games by shutout. The 16 shutouts are a school...

The 2015 season will be remembered as one of change for the North Texas football program, and one of the worst in program history. The Mean Green lost their season-opener to SMU, the team on UNT’s schedule it wants to beat above all others, and saw its season quickly spiral downhill from there.

UNT lost 66-7 to Portland State, the worst loss by an FBS team against a team from the FCS ranks in college football history.Dan McCarney was fired after the game. Mike Canales took over in an interim capacity and guided UNT the rest of the way to a 1-11 finish.

An intro with rapper Slim Thug, pastor Joel Osteen and Mean Green head coach Seth Littrell sounds like some sort of awful bar-related joke.

But it's so much more awesome than that. Littrell, who was hired as North Texas' head football coach not too long ago, took to Twitter to offer an inspirational quote.

Now, if we're being fair, this is a situation like The Office's Michael Scott quoting Wayne Gretzky as himself.

Quick back story. Slim Thug took parts of...
