Like all Boy Scouts, Nick Bailey made an oath to help other people at all times.

For his Eagle Scout Leadership Project, Bailey built and donated a seven-piece set of outdoor patio furniture valued at $2,000 to La Posada Providencia in San Benito. La Posada Providencia provides safe shelter to poor immigrants, asylees and asylum seekers in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.

In addition to the furniture, Bailey is also donating $1,100 to the San Benito shelter.
