Cold-Formed Steel Competition Comes To UNT Campus For The 4th Time

When people think of steel production, they often conjure up images of blast furnaces and molten metal being poured into molds in hot, fiery steel mills. A new generation of shell production, however, known as cold-formed steel, is fast becoming the next generation of steel design and production.

As part of the research efforts to advance this steel technology, the University of North Texas has announced that it will host the 2014 International Student Competition on Cold-Formed Steel Design.
